From 21 to 23 June 2026, Ugolini took part in the seminar dedicated to Italian textile technologies in Mongolia, held in Ulaanbaatar and promoted by ICE – Italian Trade Agency and ACIMIT, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Mongolia, thanks to the presence of Ambassador Giovanna Piccarreta, and in collaboration with the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association.

Our company’s participation represented an important opportunity to meet and exchange views with operators, companies and stakeholders from the Mongolian textile sector, gaining deeper insight into the needs of a rapidly evolving market with significant potential.
Mongolia is a strategic country for the textile supply chain, particularly for the production and processing of high-value fibres such as cashmere and wool. Ugolini had the opportunity to present its expertise in the design and construction of dyeing, laboratory and finishing machines, as well as stainless steel accessories, offering solutions focused on the Right First Time approach, from the laboratory to large-scale production.

Ugolini’s presence in Mongolia is part of the company’s long-standing path of international expansion. Ugolini has always considered foreign markets not only as commercial opportunities, but as contexts in which to build solid relationships, understand local production needs and offer technologies capable of supporting the development of textile companies.

The participating companies also had the opportunity to share an institutional moment with Pietrangelo Buttafuoco, President of Fondazione La Biennale di Venezia. This meeting highlighted the broader value of the initiative: not only the promotion of Italian textile technologies, but also the strengthening of dialogue between Italy and Mongolia through industry, culture and international relations.

The journey to Mongolia ends with a farewell to the beautiful Mongolian landscape, characterized by vast green expanses, open spaces and gentle hills.
